First Impressions on a Date

First impressions may not be the be all and end all of a date but it can be very decisive for what will happen net and looking good is so important that it cannot be stressed enough.

Important points to remember out looking good is that it doesn't have to cost you an arm and a leg in Designer clothing and signature goods to be a knockout as your character and dating prowess will also have a hand in fate. Looking good though is a great confidence booster and there are some things to always remember that are great turn ons for the Opposite Sex.

Smelling good and over all cleanliness is most paramount. The worst thing you could do is turn up with smelly armpits and grime under your fingernails. Remember that in a dating scenario the senses are stimulated as physical attraction is important as well as other factors. Make sure you are bathed and washed and choose your favorite after shave or perfume and do not overdo it though.
Choose clothing that is right for the setting, weather formal or casual and make sure it is ironed out and you don't look shabby. Your shoes should be polished if need be and try to match pretty accessories. If you are the Guy dating make sure you have a nice looking wallet when you dish out the bucks to pay for the date. Men should accessorize just as women should with maybe a nice pair of shades and leather wallet/belt.
The clothing should be well fitting according to your body shape and don't try to be something or someone that you are not. Remember you must be as original and liked for who you are and trying to wrongly impress the Opposite Sex is in a way being dishonest. You want to start something on honest grounds as this is one of the most important factors of a successful relationship.
If you have some nice jewelry, do wear it but don't overdo it. A key piece is sometimes better than lots of items thrown together. Subtle is often more powerful than an 'in your face' look.
If you dress well and your confidence is there then you are likely to succeed more and by just feeling and looking good, even if this date doesn't have the desired results you can at least feel glad that you made an effort and in the long run that is what counts.
